Veterans, join together to explore the vast nature WNC has to offer. We get the opportunity to clear our heads & exercise in the fresh air

Veterans, you’re invited to join us for a casual hiking event at Glenn Falls in Highlands North Carolina.

Glen Falls is a triple waterfall near Highlands with four great scenic stops along the roughly 2-mile round-trip hike in the Nantahala National Forest.

If you would like to carpool please meet at the Old Walmart parking lot at 0800. We will begin hiking at 0900.

If you would like to drive yourself:

Directions: From US Highway 64 in Highlands, go south on NC Highway 106 about 1.7 miles and look for the sign to Glen Falls Scenic area on the left. After you turn, the gravel road to the falls (SR 1618) veers off immediately to the right. The road dead ends into the parking area in about a mile.

HERE is a link with more information about the Glenn Falls.

We recommend you wear layers and a warm jacket, bring water, hat and good hiking shoes.
